The linen has that nice textured feel you expect from flax, not the stiff synthetic stuff. It drapes well over the box spring and the charcoal shade adds a grounded look to the room. Just wish the drop were slightly longer for my taller frame.
The charcoal color is exactly as pictured, and the linen texture feels substantial. That said, the valance sits a bit higher in spots than I expected, so it doesn't always create that perfectly even drape along the floor. It does its job dressed up the bed, just not flawlessly.
