The pre-washing makes a real difference—it came out of the dryer soft and ready to sleep in, no stiff first week. I wish the duvet cover had corner ties to keep the insert in place, but the lavender hue is calming and the fabric’s gotten even more comfortable after a few washes.

The lavender color is exactly as shown, and the fabric feels pre-washed soft right out of the bag. It's noticeably breathable at night, though I wish the duvet cover had a few more ties to keep the insert from shifting. Still, the whole set washes well and looks lovely on the bed.
