The linen has that substantial, textured weave that feels like it’ll only get softer with use. The contrasting trim around each scallop really catches the light at dinner, and they’ve held their shape beautifully through a few washes so far.
The scalloped trim in that contrasting shade is what sold me, and it looks even better on the table than in the photos. These placemats have a nice, substantial weight to them that feels properly linen, and they’ve already held up through a few messy dinners without wrinkling badly.
